How to put on fake lashes?
nicole have been asking me to take pictures and do a tutorial on it.
since we're organising this falsies spree, i think now is the right time (:
for you out there who wants to put on one but ain't familiar with it .
well well, practice makes perfect !
Things needed: Scissors, Eyeliner, Glue, Fake Lash (Sorry i left out eyelash curler)
Step 1:
Peel the [4] fake lash out, measure it with your eye to see how much you should snip away.
Reason being: If it's too long it will poke your eye and be very uncomfotable.
Step 2:
Use [1] scissors to snip off the excess lash.
No idea how much or which side to snip off ?
If you want your lash to look longer at the ends, snip off only the back..
If you want it to remain (middle longest), snip off one section from each end .
For my case, i like my lash to look longer at the ends ..
The cut lashes will look like this when pasted back to the holder,
Front short, Ends long.
Step 3:
Use the lash curler on ur lash and use the [2] eyeliner to draw a thin line on your lid.
Reason being: you need to curl your lash so that it will 'merge' with your fake lashes making it look natural. Eyeliner is good when you can't paste the lash properly, it covers the white spaces.
If you are lazy, you can just skip drawing the eyeliner (:
Step 4:
Take the [3] glue and use a small amount of it on the bone of the fake lash .
Try not to put too much of it as it'll take a longer time to dry off (=
Step 5:
Take the fake lash, now with glue at the bone, and place the lash a few mm away from the tip of your upper lid.
Try to paste the fake lashes as near as possible to your real lashes.
Note: Try not to paste the fake lash too near the tip of your upper lid as you may feel the fake lash poking your eye and feel uncomfortable.
Step 6:
After you've pasted the lashes, open your eyes and check that the fake lash is not poking out/up in weird places.
Close your eyes and check the same .
If it is, adjust it before the glue dries up.
Note: It'll be hard to adjust the fake lash when the glue dries up, then you'll have to do it again.
If all is done and well, everything's done ~!
You now know how to put on fake lashes and have pretty eyes always :D
